Planning to go spend the day with your children at Scrub Island? Are you docked at Marina Cay and want to have lunch and a swim at Scrub? Well you should know the new policy.
The resort facilities (pool and fitness centre) are to be used only by “registered resort guests”. A registered resort guest is someone who (1) has a room at the resort, (2) has a boat docked at the marina, or (3) has a “day pass” which can be purchased at a cost of $50/person/day.
Of course there is no cost for the ferry rider from Trellis Bay and anyone can purchase a meal and a drink, but if you’re going to get into the pool, you better have your proof of being a “registered resort guest”.
Scrub Island is an undisturbed 230-acre private island. It is home to the first resort development to take place in the British Virgin Islands in 15 years. The resort offers five star amenities including 2 beaches, a spa, 55-slip marina, as well as exquisite restaurants and bars. For Reservations call (877) 890-7444.
