We’ve gone through and found information on each group (when available), and posted it here, so you don’t have to look anywhere else to find information on the artists and performers at this years Cane Garden Bay Music Festival.

friday may 27th, 2011

Friday will kick off the “Stars on the Beach”, BVI Music Fest 2011 – with DJ Hypeness welcoming the crowd to the venue and then it’s anyones guess as to what will happen next.

You can get a feel for the next three acts by checking out the videos below. To us, it seems like a night of FAST, SOCA music. Trey Songs, Tremaine Aldon Neverson (born November 28, 1984), better known by his stage name Trey Songz, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor. His debut album, I Gotta Make It, was released in 2005, while his second album, Trey Day, was released in 2007. His third album, Ready, was released in 2009 while his fourth studio album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure, was released on September 14, 2010.

Showtime Band is the year after year winner of the BVI Festival and will definitely fire up the crowd.

Saturday will find most attendees groggy from the late Friday night spent partying on the beach – but make sure and arrive on time to see The Addikshun Band – the only, all-female music group in the BVI – with 8 members!
It would be a BIG MISTAKE to miss – or even get there late to see hometown favorites, Quito & The Edge – one of our personal favorites here at – and part of the lifeblood of original music and songs about the BVI from the man himself, Quito Rymer.

Of course, is very proud to be the sole source for MP3s of Quito Rymer online, you can purchase his records here! The evening kicks off with an undefined segment of ‘Musical Entertainment’, which we suspect will be banter provided by DJ Hypeness.
